Was it good??? While my boy DAVID COOK snatched the crown right out from under little Davey's head!!! That was just too beautiful for words - I'll be over later for some cake, celebrating DC's win - oh wait, you probably ate it all by now huh? ;o) Hopefully Heather got a piece as an anniversary celebration . . . or did you get her the Sienna as a gift???
I stand corrected. DC wins by 12 million. I did not see that coming. Lillah, did you think DC was going to win (i know you wanted him to, but did you think he would?) I am shocked at this results show. I thought DA had it in the bag.
I think most people thought DC had the total package so yes, I thought he would win based on his entire Idol experience. But I also thought that it might be "better" if DA won b/c he's so young. I think DA would've benefitted more from winning (and DC would've done well no matter what the outcome!) b/c DA needs some more work on his stage presence - and the marketing people (with an AI win) could've done well and helped him make himself more "marketable". Guess they still could if the right label picks him up - no doubt his voice is beautiful!!! He just needs some work and direction in the PR department or he's going to wind up singing on a Disney Cruise or Nickolodeon!
How about Simon's apology to DC??? Man, you never hear Simon apologize for anything!
