So here's how I've been feeling lately...
But actually, today I feel a smidge better...just a smidge. I have a game plan. I'm trying to lay around (if I can actually stand that any longer) for the next 3 days. My doctor says this will get me to the point of being able to "live" again. I'm not one to lay around so this has been absolutely frustrating, but today I made some peace with it. I feel a little like John Travolta in "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble." Anyone seen it? Good flic. Good flic.
And I sign off today's post with my new summer look. I wasn't planning on going this short but those dang clippers...wow. I'm kind of digging it though. I'm not used to looking menacing. I'm kind of curious to see if I can go to...Blockbusters or Burger King and stare people down or scare old men or something. It'd be better with a neck tattoo. Although I'm sure I won't seem very threatening with all my inhalers, my fat cough, and my walking at a snail's pace. Ah well, whatryougunna do?

nope, not menacing...more like intoxicated and homeless!!!
glad you're starting to feel better.
p.s. tell heather it's time for a new post:)
Thanks goodness for smidges :)
The "dan" pic is really creepy for some reason... I can't put my finger on it yet.
Menacing- no. wanna-be-hard ass- Totally, and yeah, maybe a George Clooney tat from the movie From Dusk Till Dawn (I love how it goes from the neck all the way down to his arm) would help, but honestly, I think it would make you look more like a cracked out New Metal Head, and believe me, that would be SO poser-pathetic. :) SO not you.
Although, I am digging the new chest piece on a skinny boy fad like on Craig from local band Chiodos (front boy) That would look pretty great on you I think... but I don't think you will...LOL ha, ha :) You could then pull of a fine Gangsta-Emo/Travis Barker look...LOL!!!!
ANYWAY-
RE: to your earlier questions
Nausea & abdominal pressure, no sleep too hot and the super-smell power thing is getting TOO effing old... All I seem to smell are the gross-ness in everything, even if there are/were good qualities.
Scrambled Eggs are my worst nightmare, and though I'm famished at night, I dare NOT eat anything or I want to throw up (but can't) in the morning and the pipes are way clogged- sick/gross I know. We saw our new OBGYN yesterday, and I'm just lazy in my update (LOTS to say)... hopefully I will do it tomorrow. I'm very lazy these days :)
So, keep your eyes peeled for a new post any day now.
GET BETTER!!! Here's to hoping for more smidges...
Amanda & baby
So sad that you really did get sick...I'm glad you are feeling better.
The haircut is really cool...My hubby has been cutting his own hair for a few years and he has wanted to shave it completely more than once...I think he'd look pretty cute...
Thanks for the tips on the BBQ pit...I've only drove through Kentucky...you'd think growing up in Ohio I'd visit often.
Glad your up and moving around! Get back to feeling better soon!
Man, that really bites. So sorry you are sick. You are like teachers who only get sick at Christmas and Easter and summer because that is when they have time to be sick.
I hope you are back to your inspired self in no time.
Hair is cool. I went a little crazy with the clippers on James this weekend too.
I like the hair or should I say head!
I loved The Boy In The Bubble!! I watched it not to long ago......it wasn't as cool as I remembered! When you finally went outside did you feel like him?
my comment was in reference to the last couple sentences....."my inhalers, fat cough, and walking at a snails pace:)
That's Nazi Scary - did you lead a German Brigade in a prior life. My only fear now is that the reflection from the bright lights at Northview may be an experience like Damascus Road! From Jeff to Deff.
beth has tatoos...you should get one! Nothing like a scrolling flower vine to scare the bejeebers outta people I say!
...and nothing so attractive as a wheezing middle aged man sucking down on his inhaler! ahahhahaha
Dude, I'm just glad you're on the mend - I was gettin' worried about ya! Now as I said before . . . REST, or you won't get better! Love ya!
glad you are feeling (marginally) better. been thinking about you guys.....
