Raised by Wolves

I was raised by wolves
In pink gowns

Meant to stand on town-legs, I lurk
Across a moor
A swinging head
left to right
I spot a jackrabbit
And know exactly what to do

I was raised by wolves in pink gowns

I rustle up grub
I howl at the moon
next to my mother, Her fur tinged
with lunar lights
Bristling about her neck

Starting, the day I was littered
The twenty day of the eleventh twelfth
Thirty nine wolf years
Still a cub
in my mother’s pouch
watching
learning

raised by wolves

She prowls around town
Shoves me into the street
From behind a dumpster
Corners small prey
Lets drool hang from her lips
Shows me how it’s done

Shows me how to be...

irreconcilable

Part wolf
Part man
Part son
Part cub

cool illustration. . . inspires me to think of what type of animal raised me. . . probably different than what my sister would choose. I'm thinkin' that this might be a great subject for discussion.

Happy 39th! You share your birthday with my son Jackson. He turned 7. Did you choose Red Lobster and ToysRUs for your night out too?

I chose coconut cake from this little cafe in town and a the movie "Precious." Anxious to see that.

Let me know how Precious turned out.

Precious was such a great movie...sad but hopeful. Expect a rough movie, but i LOVED it. Mark my words (well, this blog is marking them for me) Mo'nique and the girl who played Precious will both be nominated for academy awards and I'm guessing Mo'nique will come home with the Oscar for best supporting actress.

Ok, so I can't seem to see your page Fashionista. Do I need to subscribe to it or something?

I don't know why you can't see my page. I'll check to see whatsup.

Happy Thanksgiving!
